4. PROCEDURE
In consultation with the QSSE Coordinator, the management drafts a policy statement. Evaluation, revision, or reaffirmation of the policy statement takes place at least every 3 years. If changes are made, the policy statement must be communicated and discussed with all stakeholders. This should occur at least every 3 years.
Transmission of this policy within the company is done as follows:
– Training of new personnel
– Presence at all physical locations of the organization
– QSSE system of Waste Vision.

Transmission of this policy outside the organization is done as follows:
– Waste Vision website
– Upon request from external stakeholders

Communication consists of an oral and a written part, and the new employee signs for acknowledgment, declaring to have heard, read, and understood the content. Temporary employees are informed in the same manner as permanent employees.

5. RESPONSIBILITIES
The management will ensure that everything happens as described and will support this notably through awareness and training, intervening where necessary. The management ensures that all employees are informed of the policy statement.

6. POLICY STATEMENT
The Management of Waste Vision is convinced that a policy focused on Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (in short QSSE) is important for compliance with applicable laws and regulations and reasonable demands from employees, clients, and suppliers.

We firmly believe that through QSSE management (both assurance and improvement of efficiency), we can ensure the best service to our clients and suppliers and minimize the risks associated with our activities. The mindset of our employees is crucial here; thinking and acting from a QSSE perspective should be ingrained in the DNA of our employees. Awareness, training, and mutual accountability are essential for this. We continue to work constantly on improving our Safety, Health, Environment & Quality management and performance.

To this end, Waste Vision has developed the QSSE management system for all its business units. The following principles apply to each of us:
– We comply with at least all applicable legal regulations in the areas of Safety, Health, Environment, & Quality management.
– We identify the needs and expectations of our stakeholders during our decision-making process regarding the provision of our products and services.
– We consider Safety, Health, Environment, & Quality management aspects from the outset of all our activities.
– We create a working environment where we treat everyone equally and where we minimize safety, health, and environmental risks as much as possible.
– All employees, at all levels of the organization, take responsibility for Safety, Health, Environment & Quality.
– We inform clients about the Safety, Health, Environment & Quality aspects of the products or services to be provided.
– We prioritize reducing safety risks over other risks.
– We maintain open communication on Safety, Health, Environment & Quality management at all levels, both internally and externally.
– We make clear, precise, and verifiable agreements with the client regarding specifications, price, and delivery time of products or services.
– We handle any complaints carefully, seeking a reasonable agreement with the client.
– We collaborate with the client to find sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions.
– We take responsibility for the environment by seeking to limit harmful effects on the environment and reduce our CO2 footprint.
– We treat confidential information from ourselves and third parties confidentially.
– We ensure that all environmental consequences of our operations are identified and are progressive in solutions and initiatives regarding environmentally friendly operations.
– Accidents will be prevented as much as possible. Preventive measures include training and instruction for all employees, maintenance and certification of machinery and tools, recording and discussing hazards, dangerous situations, near misses, and accidents.
– We continue to work constantly on improving our quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental management systems.
